José Antonio Navarrete

Cuban-born, resided in Venezuela for two decades. He currently lives and works in Miami, Florida.

He is a critic, researcher and independent curator of visual arts and culture. As an artist, this is his first solo exhibition.

  • With a team of researchers, he investigated the theme “Redes intelectuales. Arte y Política en América Latina” within the program “Connecting Art Histories” sponsored by the JP Getty Foundation, USA. His project focuses on the net and connections of artists and intellectuals of Latin America and France during the 1920s
